Problem
The Client, providing a cloud SaaS platform for import and export business owners. They already have some presence and customers in Japan.
However, their customer acquisition, the membership signups, has been solely based on some organic traffics and affiliate sites.
Solutions
As their service and value proposition is unique and targeting a small group of people, we have decided to run PPC (Pay-Per-Clicks) campaigns.
We have conducted in-depth keywords research, customer profiles, and existing traffic source keywords. And we have set up Google Ads and Yahoo! JAPAN PPC campaigns with the monthly budgets of 1,000 USD for user membership signups.
Results
We’ve achieved a Click Through Rate (CTR) of 4.09% and a Conversion Rate (CVR) for their service signups of 2.41%, which leads to LTV of 200 USD on average. With the campaign’s activity, the Cost Per Action (CPA) for the new lead is 16.73 USD per customer signup.
The client’s target CPA was 25USD, considering other existing paid ads and affiliate site costs. They were happy with our low CPA of 16 USD, and we have decided to increase budgets.
